Founded in 1907 by A J T Kempson, affiliated to the Angling Trust, for all styles of coarse fishing.

CLUB NOTIFICATIONS 

  • GOLDEN RULES FOR ALL MEMBERS- ANYONE BREAKING THEM RISK LOSING THERE MEMBERSHIP
    • VALID CLUBMATE MEMBERSHIP CARD MUST BE CARRIED AT ALL TIMES ON H&DAA WATERS. AT THE BSA LAKES, PLEASE LEAVE YOUR CARD ON THE DASHBOARD OF YOUR VEHICLE IN A CLEAR VISIBLE LOCATION
    • LOCK ALL GATES ON ENTRY AND EXIT
    • NO LITTER, TINS, CANS, ALCOHOL, DRUGS OR LASER PENS
    • IF THERE IS LITTER IN YOUR SWIM, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE – CLEAR IT UP & TAKE IT HOME
    • UNDER 16’s TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT (18 OR OVER) AT ALL TIMES
    • DO NOT LEAVE ACTIVE FISHING RODS  UNATTENDED – IT IS  ILLEGAL (YOU MUST REMAIN IN YOUR SWIM AT ALL TIMES)
    • EXCEPT DURING MATCHES, NO KEEPNETS AT ROOSTHOLE, FOXHOLE OR ISLAND POND
    • NIGHT FISHING ONLY WITH CORRECT PERMIT
    • MINIMUM 36” TRIANGLE NET OR 30” SPOON LANDING NETS MUST BE USED ON ALL WATERS (EXCEPT BSA) & 42” WHEN FISHING FOR PIKE SEE RULE 43 FOR FULL DETAILS.
    • A WELL-PADDED UNHOOKING MAT 24” X 48” MUST BE USED ON ALL WATERS, PREFERABLY A CRADLE SEE RULE 44 FOR FULL DETAILS.
    • ALL MEMBERS MUST CARRY AND USE AN APPROVED FISH CARE PRODUCT. SEE RULE 57 FOR FULL DETAILS.
    • SACKING OF SINGLE FISH FOR WEIGHING PURPOSES ONLY ALLOWED AT NIGHT
    • NO CYCLING OR RUNNING ALONG BANKS
    • ALL PATHWAYS TO BE KEPT CLEAR AT ALL TIMES
    • NO DOGS, (EXCEPT THE HORSHAM BANK AT ROOSTHOLE OR WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY A CLUB OFFICIAL OR BAILIFF) RADIOS, FIRES OR BBQs
    • ANGLERS MUST NOT CAST FROM ONE SWIM TO ANOTHER – SEE POSTED SIGNS
  • Foxhole has now re-opened , please only fish the swims that have been finished.

H&DAA welcomes members of all ages. You can join and renew online. See Memberships for more details.
Join Us
Senior members may buy Guest Tickets for up to two persons. Members must accompany their guests fishing.
Tickets
Everything from Beanies to Winter Jackets and Polo shirts to Hoodies, purchase some club branded clothing, become a club ambassador and wear the H&DAA logo with pride.
CLUB SHOP
H&DAA runs regular matches throughout the season. These are usually more social than competitive. There is also a Christmas competition and other trophies to fish for.
