SUN OAK FARM PONDS
There has been a change of ownership of these Ponds and we have to observe new rules. Please abide by these new arrangements otherwise we will loose these waters. The fields alongside the waters are leased to third parties and are for their use not ours.
ADDITIONAL NEW DIRECTIONS for SEASON 16th June 2009 - 14th March 2010
Dry Pond:
- The first gate should be kept shut & locked at all times: there will be 2 padlocks set in sequence, one will be an H&DAA padlock on which the new combination will work
- Proceed to the end of the track
- Look out for the new sign on the tree on the left by the gate
- Only park along side the track by the gate: DO NOT PARK ON THE TRACK AT ANY POINT
- The gate should be locked at all times: if the gate is open DO NOT DRIVE DOWN TO THE LAKE
- Please walk round the field, not across it
Black Bottom Pond:
- After passing through the first gate and locking it as above, proceed 0.25 miles to an entrance on the left – look out for the new sign on the tree
- Drive through the entrance and keep to the track all the way round to the dam wall
- Cross the dam and park on the left by 2 large oak trees
- DO NOT PARK ON THE TRACK AT ANY POINT
- DO NOT WALK OR DRIVE ACROSS THE FIELDS
- LEE PLACE RIVER, BILLINGSHURST
MEMBERS CAN ALSO BORROW EXCHANGE
TICKETS TO USE THE WATERS OF A NUMBER OF OTHER CLUBS, GIVING ACCESS TO
SCORES OF OTHER WATERS COMPLETELY
FREE.
MEMBERS OF HDAA CAN GET REDUCED MEMBERSHIP TO CALPAC
CLUB WHO HAVE A LARGE NUMBER OF WATERS THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH OF ENGLAND.
