Heading south on the A29, turn right near the bottom of Codmore Hill, into Blackgate Lane. Proceed 2km to a farm on your right with 2 tall silos and some big storage buildings, 50m after this turn left onto a track, follow this for 400m, turn right into a farmyard with large haybarns.  Diagonally in the far corner is a hardstanding adjacent to a field gate.  Park here.  If this area is being used by farm machinery you may park elsewhere within the compound, but please ensure you do not cause an obstruction.

Please take care driving down the track and do not, in any circumstances, block any farm machinery or access, or scare any horses being exercised.

Parking is signposted.  Do not park on the green in front of the cottages.  Please leave a note on your dashboard ‘H&DAA fishing’.

Access to the river is a short walk through the field gate.

Fishing is on the nearside bank for approximately ½mile in each direction from the footbridge.

The downstream boundary is the fence which marks the boundary of the Snape Farm Fishery.  The upstream boundary is marked by a Billingshurst AS notice board.
