HORSHAM & DISTRICT ANGLNG ASSOCIATION VACANCY - General Secretary 1. Attend all committee meetings 2. Record the minutes of the committee meetings. 3. Read out the minutes of previous committee meeting and all correspondence. 4. Collate correspondence for committee meetings. 5. Draft for issue the annual newsletter & renewal notices. 6. Issues new and renewal membership cards when renewals and payments received by post. 7. Collect and receipt renewals and payments received via tackle shop. 8. Keep a record of membership details and payments received. 9. Produce membership lists for bailiffs. 10. Provide auditor at the end of the year with list of members along with their membership forms. 11. Deal with some correspondence and enquiries by letter. 12. Write to members regarding disciplinary or other matters brought up in committee. 13. Correspond with fishery “owners” regarding fees etc. 14. Keep a record of and issue life memberships and complimentary memberships. 15. Request exchange cards from other clubs and send out ours to them. 16. Take responsibility for other clubs exchange cards for use by our members. 17. Issues guest and members one night tickets. Keep a record of these. 18. Provide treasurer with list of memberships along with various payments received. 19. Request CALPAC memberships and return unsold ones around 1st October. 20. Record attendance and minutes of AGM. 21. Read minutes of previous AGM. 22. Arrange date and book hall for AGM. 23. Ensure that insurance, including Fish Legal and Angling Trust membership are up to date. 24. Distribute correspondence to the most appropriate committee member eg dam inspections to Fishery Officer. 25. Arrange for the printing and issue of all relevant printed matter eg membership cards, rule books to be done and ensure it is correct at the time of issue.
