About HDAA:

  • Established since 1907. 

  • The club has numerous waters which it either owns or rents. It also has access to scores of other waters and can obtain concessionary membership fees to CALPAC.

  • A long established and friendly club catering for all styles of coarse fishing.

  • Several lakes and several miles of different rivers. All in beautiful and picturesque surroundings

  • Carp and pike to 30lbs. Tench to 8lbs. Bream to 8lbs. Roach over 2lbs. Perch to 5 lbs. Chub over 5lbs. Rudd to 2lbs. Large Sea Trout in season

  • All ages and abilities catered for

  • Reduced club fees for disabled anglers. Purpose built disabled swims available

  • Active promotion of junior members including special matches during summer school holidays and summer and winter junior match leagues. ‘Teach-ins’ also take place during the summers school holidays

  • Club competitions most Sundays. Run on social lines with low entry fees. The more serious match angling can be introduced to local match teams.

  • Wives may fish club waters for free when accompanying their husbands.

  • Night fishing permits available.

  • Non-fishing permits available so that Parents can accompany juniors.

  • Associate membership of CALPAC provides access to more lakes and rivers throughout the South of England.

  • Half price membership available December to May inclusive
